~~~ Our Mission ~~~R.E.A.L. Paranormal Investigations is committed to seeking out and obtaining authenticated evidence of the paranormal. Methods of gathering this evidence will include: research into historical, land, title and public records, photographic and video evidence, audio evidence, eyewitness accounts and the confirming of psychic impressions. By maintaining confidentiality and accurate case reports and files, we strive to protect the integrity of the client and the investigation itself. ~~~ About Our Team ~~~ R.E.A.L. Paranormal Investigations was founded in 2008 by members of different teams, that wanted to pursue the paranormal a little differently. Each of us have our own unique talents and skills and with the addition of several other like-minded individuals, over the course of the next few months, our team grew into what it is today. By basing our investigations on historical research, current technology and psychic impressions, gathered with multiple investigations of the same site, we hope to present more rounded, inclusive and authentic evidence of the paranormal where it exists. Natural and man-made causes will always be investigated and ruled out before declaring a site to be haunted. Our team members have a great regard and true respect for the people who created our history and came before us. Our goal is to research and reveal their stories so that we may never forget them and the legacy they have left behind.

We Are Not Ghost Hunters
We often come across teams that like to label themselves as "Ghost Hunters". We here at R.E.A.L. like to think of ourselves as just "Paranormal Investigators".We do not "Hunt" potential ghosts or spirits, we investigate them. We do not "Debunk", we disprove with factual evidence. Our team feels this type of terminology, which is often glamorized by television shows, casts a negative outlook on paranormal investigation. We do not strive to be on some paranormal television show or local news broadcast. We have no interest in making money on merchandising, nor do we feel the need to make what we do into a business or corporation. We also do not feel that advertising what we do on fleets of personal vehicles, in order to attract attention to ourselves, will help our clients either.Unfortunately, there are many teams out there who do not take paranormal investigation serious, and poor decisions like these have a long lasting negative effect on paranormal investigation as a whole, and makes legitimate researcher's jobs even harder. Here at R.E.A.L. we take what we do seriously, and try our very best to make sure that the paranormal is portrayed in a positive light, and that the client is treated with dignity and respect. Simply put, the paranormal is our passion, not our business!
